February 1, 2011

February 2011 will be remembered for the blizzard.
12.3 inches of snow and bitter temperatures made for a week of school closings
and Kansas City being in a state of emergency.

White out conditions for most of the day
made travel dangerous. I-70 was closed from Kansas City
to St. Louis. By late in the day Missouri was in a state of emergency.
This was a huge storm that made the record books.

Yea, you guys had it bad with that storm. Now it will be nice if we could get a break with the bad weather. I'm getting tired of my weekly snowstorms!!!!

If I remember right, Spring is only 43 days away!
