Great post, there's reports that robins are up by my area now. Haven't seen them but looking for them now. As for tree buds, hmm I think they are starting to wake up.

Dear Cathy,
I thought of you this morning when I was narrating this piece. I felt as if I was talking right with you!
Thank you for your continued support.
Yeah, for Robins in your backyard!
Spring is very, very near.

hi there Sherry, thanks for dropping by my blog; just wanted to say I enjoyed your video diaries, thanks for sharing these snapshots into your life.
We have a storm coming tonight; high winds and rain apparently, So spring seems far away to me at the moment!

Dear Barbara,
Sue, from Tumblewords, encouraged me to do a narrative. Since I wanted to do an almanac I combined photos, birds, gardens and the slide show format. This on line journal is taking the place of my written almanac.
I was inspired to write my own almanac when I read "East Wind Melts the Ice".
Glad you enjoyed this.

A Spring garden filled with 40 Cardinals & Mockingbirds song sounds idealic Sherry. Our weather forcast for the weekend is SUN :-} I think I have taken enough pictures of the snow :-}.

Dear Deb,
It is the year of the Cardinal!
I have never seen so many.
The morning chorus is beautiful.
As Spring comes in stronger the chorus will build. I am looking for the spring migration to begin soon.
I hope your snow melts and you are able to see a bit of green soon!
Thank you Deb, for your kind support.

It is so good to wake up to the bird song. The weather has turned a little colder here again, windy and rain and spring is on hold but we know it just waiting around the corner :-) Really enjoyed your report, Sherry :-)

Dear Chris,
Thank you!
The morning chorus is one of the joys of spring. Even before the first bloom the birds begin to sing.
Thank you for your friendship and support. I hope to report spring migration soon.
