Dearest Loved One!

Oh, I am so very thrilled that you called me forth to be with you during the "Winds of Change," this evening.

I felt you so near, and came to your sanctuary, only to find your precious voice filing my heart with gladness. Your words are beautiful, your presence in your Almanac is life-giving.

I hear thundering off in the distance. It is gentle on the heart.

It's 1:11 AM, on January 8, 2008. Happy New Moon (in Capricorn) Girlfriend! I cherish you!

Much Love,
*sprite

I couldn't resist a look before work. I am glad I did. As I sat here enjoying your almanac the wind outside is whistling. I can feel the cold riding in on this wind. I will look forward to more installments of your Almanac. Gotta get going... I overslept today... I'm late, I'm late for a very important date....

My Dear Sprite,
The wind and the storms are full of energy! So glad you came out from your deep sleep to feel the power!
I was inspired by "East Wind Melts the Ice" to write my own Almanac. When Sue from Tumblewords asked me to narrate a piece I wrote last week I thought maybe I could do the Almanac as a slide show with my voice. I hope to be able to do the Almanac every seven days. I am just learning how to do this. Hopefully it will get "better" as I become more comfortable.
Thank you for your continued support.
Happy New Moon!
Happy New Beginnings.
Love,
Sherry

Dear Lisa,
The storm is coming your way too!
Do stay warm and safe. This storm has caused all sorts of damage here in Missouri.
Never worry about visiting. I am here day and night. The joy of the blog is the door is always open and the light always on.

Dear Anna,
Thank you! I think doing my own Almanac will be very fun. A nice way to compare from year to year too.
I have this idea of how to do the seven day cycle so that I can keep track easily when the butterflies and Hummingbirds return.
I take photos everyday so the Almanac could be seven pitures, one from each day. We are just beginning.....
Happpy new beginnings.
Hugs,
Sherry

Dear Mary,
So many blogs!!
I still read too just have not posted on Book Club for a few weeks...also have not done anything too "artsy" for a spell. Will get to it. I would like to get back walking every day as well.
Next week!
I have been plannning the Almanac for a few months. Using my own voice was tricky. My husband was very nice and helped me relax a bit. Narrating is very different from just music. I did a few "takes" before I was happy with the results.
Short and sweet I think is best for the Almanac.
Now we will see what the next seven days has to offer.
Thank you for your kind support.
I shall light a healing candle for you. Being sick is not fun!
Hugs,
Sherry

Beautiful. Just beautiful.

Thank you for sharing your voice, your corner, your own bird song.

Dear Sherry, what a wonderful idea to have an almanac with your own voice and photos. I can sense you having fun recording your own voice and chosing your words :-) Never, ever, tell us again that you are a novice with IT :-) we will not believe you again. Go for it, the sky is your limit!

A very nice idea and beautifully realized! It is a pleasure to listen to your voice. Looking forward to your next entry in this almanac.
Thank you!

Dear Housefrau,
Ahhh....Thank you.
Here I am just stepping right out!
Your encouragement is like a saftey net. I trust you would let me know if I become too brazen.
Putting my voice with my words was difficult. I respect those that do "voice overlays". This little show took a few "takes".
Thank you again.
All my love,
Mum

Oh, Sherrie, it was far better than I could have imagined. You are a star!! When I first began publishing poetry, I read the poems to CD's to accompany the books. It's not an easy task but your voice is perfect and the photos are superb! Well done, my friend. Well done!!! Soon, I'll suggest the NEXT step!!! Smiling...

Dear Chris,
I was so nervous! Just like a school girl! It was fun...no IT knowing necessary. I use the photostory software. It tells you what to do. I will ask Housefrau, my IT lady, to add Almanac to my sidebar on Corner. I have no idea how to do that.
I like the "sky is the limit" idea.
Thanks Chris, for your kindness and support in all of my endeavors.

Dear Barbara,
Thank you! I never know when I jump into something how it will come off. Glad my voice was kind to your ears.
My plan is to do my Almanac every seven days so the next installment should be on the 14th if all goes well.
Fun sometimes means I must take a risk.
Glad you enjoyed this.

Dear Sue,
I cannot thank you enough for challenging me to be the best I can be. I enjoyed the tension and the excitment of creating my Almanac. I already have ideas for next week. I will still do slide show Fridays! Almanac may have a few birds and butterflies and I would like to add some flowers when they bloom.
I think you are very good at telling when I am ready for "next".
Thank you for your encouragement. Thank you for your friendship. Thank you for teaching me.

Yes I finally can see these wonderful videos at home. Q I got my dsl today!!! You did a brilliant job on this one. Looking forward to seeing more.

Have you ever read The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady by Edith Holden?
She did what you are doing with video except it takes place in 1906.

Dear Cathy,
Yeah and double yeah for DSL! You will enjoy the quickness!
I have never read the "Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady."
I have written it down on my book list. Hopefully I will get to the used book store soon. I have some books to sell and some books to buy.
Thank you Cathy for your friendship.

How wonderful to hear your voice narrating your gorgeous slide show making it even more special. Your Almanac is a fantastic idea.

Dear Deb,
I am so bold! LOL!
My thinking is Almanac will be slide shows. I hope to be able to narrate each one. I wrote a story board for this one. Very interesting how different narrating a slide show is from putting photos to music.
Thank you, Deb, for your support.

Dear Becky,
I enjoy the way the wheel of inspiration turns. I was inspired by Lisa Dalby, "East Wind Melts the Ice" to write my own almanac. Sue, from Tumblewords, inspired me to do a slide show in my voice. I put the two together and ended up with another blog!
Hope you write your Alamac.
