Dear Cathy, Thank you. I am feeling more comfortable. The piece playing in the background is the song, "Silk Road" from the soundtrack, "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". I thought it went well with my monthly theme and my layers of silk. A youtube account! It will be so fun to see your videos. thank you for your support and kind words of encouragement. Sherry
Dear Sue, Thank you. I respect your opinion. Thank you. Almanac is teaching me about voice and presentation. I think and write and practice! I almost feel as if I should "dress" for recording. When my sister worked in her home office she always "dressed" professionally before she went to her desk. She said it gave her a feeling of confidence. I do understand the work a "sound man" goes through and how voice is very difficult. No editing here! Live and uncut! Thanks for your support. Sherry
Dear Sprite, Keeper of the secrets of the trees and goddess of the Moon, Thank you! I am feeling very relaxed with my voice now. I come to Almanac off and on and listen so I can learn from each week. The writing takes me awhile. It is more writing than I normally do. I used to "stamp" my calender each day and record rain totals and snowfalls. Now I look back at the pictures I took each day and "see" my week in review. Adding in some human activity as well as weather was how Lisa Dalby did her almanac in, East Wind Melts The Ice. I enjoy the human element. After all I am "nature" too. Thank you dear friend. Sherry
Dear Sherry Each Friday, after listening to your Almanac & watching the beautiful slide show, I say "this is my favourite" :-} I love your St. francis bird feeder! Animals/Nature are certainly our greatest teachers & I loved your comment on how we "watch how they manage - knowing we can too".
Dear Deb, Thank you. I am more comfortable now here on Almanac! The animals do teach me so very much. Seems as if I understand better when it comes from the ways of nature than the ways of mankind. I am so grateful to you and your continued support. Have a happy weekend and a beautiful February. Sherry

So lovely. Sounds like Yo-Yo Ma is playing in the background. I noticed you are getting confindence with the talking part.
I did get a youtube account over the weekend. Still bit away of doing my own videos but getting there.

My Dear Goddess Girlfriend!
Oh! This is so wonderful, to hear your voice in a place of ease. I could feel you completely relaxed as you moved through your piece with peace.
Very very nice.
Thank you so much for giving so entirely of yourself.
Love you,
*sprite
