Dear Chris,
Thanks! Almanac is such an adventure...
Keeping track of each week here is different and fun.
I also would like to explore more of the city I live in. There are many places I have never been.
I am adding an errand day to my week and hope to visit at least one new shop each week.

What fun exploring on "frosty mornings" ~ Morning Meditation ... thank you for making this part of mine too. I found it so lovely and relaxing to watch AND listen too
:-}

Dear Deb,
Thank you for liking Almanac!
My voice still sounds so foreign to me! My husband thinks I can reduce some of the echoing by getting a little bit closer to the microphone. I will try that next time.

Very good. What music did you use?

Dear Cathy,
Thank you! Still feel somewhat shy.
This is Yo-Yo Ma on the cello playing a song entitled,"Chin-Chin-Chidori" from the 1984 release "Yo-Yo Ma Japanese Melodies".
Since I am studying the Japanese and Chinese cultures in January I thought it would be fitting to use some of the music for slide shows.
Thank you for your kind support.

Dearest Sherry,

This is so lovely. Another week passes, and I have slept. I awakened once again to hear your soothing voice.

Almanac is perfect, you are amazing to me.

Much love,

Dear Sprite,
I am so pleased you awoke for a brief time and I was here!!!
Sharing my voice with you is joyful for me. Thank you.
The keeping of the week this way is great! Cooper's Hawk comes most days but this past week he was so close. Truely I could have patted him....If ever I would have trouble I bet Coop would come to help.
I also will remember when my son
left. The idea of the Almanac is what is happening on inside and outside of me.
The Hawks are messengers they say.
I hear the message, "All is well".
Hope that is also true for you.
Namasta,
Sherry

You were so close to the juvenile Cooper that you could brush the snow from its wing? That's wonderful! I'm really enjoying your almanac, Sherry :o)

Dear Mary,
Thank you for being a kind and supportive friend!
Maybe after I do a few weeks I will be more comfortable. It is very fun and exciting to be making my Almanac here. I think about Almanac every day. Before I fall asleep each night I find I am thinking about the day. I review each moment that comes to mind and decide if there is something I want to remember next year or five years from now.
Almanac is about the natural world in my gardens and about the events in my life. We will see how it unfolds.
Yes, so close I easily could have stroked his wings! I was awed.
Thank you again for your time here and kind words.

The bare branches must make good hunting for the hawks. Don't let them hunt your socks. Wonderful week!

Dear Housefrau,
I am keeping my socks on but I have thrown a glove in a frenzy while taking pictures. I talk with the birds and make gestures too. One of my stocking hats was found later in the backyard. Perhaps it flew off when I was watching the Hawks watch me.
If the eagles come I will let you know.
Love,
Mum

Dear Sue,
It was a great week!
Keeping the Almanac here is fun and creative. I would like to get a bit faster in the creating process. LOL! This short slide show takes a few takes! I may need a voice teacher and a sound advisor. I am learning.
Thank you for your support.
